ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE RESEARCH CENTER
Collegium Intermarium University AI Research Center is working on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies in the study of a wide range of issues related to the idea of Classical Europe and the phenomenon of posthumanism.
The use of advanced technologies makes it possible to look at the idea of Classic Europe from many new perspectives, allows for creative processing of large amounts of data and contributes to the expansion of the current state of knowledge and research. We believe that thanks to the use of AI/ML technology, it will be possible to discover new connections of social networks, as well as to show in an innovative way, using data visualization, how Latin civilization has developed over the centuries.
The Center also studies the concept of posthumanism. We believe that the correct understanding of the phenomenon of posthumanism and considering it from the perspective of philosophy and ethics will translate into better development of humanity in the future and will respond to a number of already visible potential threats or moral dilemmas related to the use of advanced technologies.

Rafał Gabriel Laskowski
Director of the Artificial Intelligence Research Center/Head of Business Development
Rafal Gabriel Laskowski is a sociobiologist working on the evolution of AI and the concept of Posthumanism. He runs the startup TediBerry Little Metaverse in which he wants to use game to inspire people about art and education. He is the founder of TRoAI, a project dedicated to the development of artificial intelligence related to the values of Classical Europe. He completed his doctoral studies in Sociology at the Polish Academy of Sciences. Studied Political Science with a specialization in National Security at Collegium Civitas University. Research areas: artificial intelligence, machine learning, posthumanism, evolutionism, sociology, sociobiology, and Classical Europe. His master’s thesis concerned “Robotics and its impact on current changes in our civilization” (Collegium Civitas 2012). He also wrote 3 papers on Barack Obama’s “Yes We Can” campaign and concept. According to him, this concept is not only about politics. Since 2012, he has been working on the Metaverse concept. He is the author of the “PAAT” and “Rational Democracy” theories, which are the foundations of the TRoAI project. In his research he also deals with theories: Evolutionism, Intelligent Design, and Theistic Evolutionism. He also studies Asian cultures, mainly that of China, Singapore, Japan, and South Korea.
As a National Security Analyst, he has worked with the Center for the Study of Terrorism (CBnT) at Collegium Civitas, the Parliamentary Committee on National Defense and the Euro-Atlantic Association. Research areas: Future of Warfare, new forms of training for special units, AI/ML technologies to accelerate the production of military equipment, tactics and strategy for using robots on the battlefield, new technologies as foundations for national security. Rafał Gabriel Laskowski also has an artistic background, having been a ballet dancer, studying at L’École-Atelier Rudra-Bejart in Lausanne and the Roman Turczynowicz Ballet School in Warsaw.
SCIENCE RESEARCH
- Building an interactive map of the development of Latin Civilization. The goal of the project is to show in a new way the connections of social networks over the last several thousand years. These connections have led to the development of philosophy, art, and science.
- visualizing the development of education during the Carolingian Renaissance and the Medieval Renaissance. The goal of the project is to explore and visualize the construction of the education process in medieval Europe.
- AI and Classical Learning. The goal of the project is to build a 3D intelligent environment to reflect Plato’s Academy, Aristotle’s Lyceum and the medieval university. The next stage will be to build an AI/ML system that will simulate philosophical and scientific debates based on classical texts to show how classical science was born.
- new map of Florence. The aim of the project is to explore and visualize through the construction of an interactive map how art developed during the Renaissance in Florence.
- The Era of Posthumanism. The aim of the project is to collect and study predictions about Posthumanism and then build an intelligent 3D environment to show a simulation of the development of our civilization in the future. The next stage will be to build AI/ML systems that will be used to make our own original predictions on how our Civilization should develop.
Our Center will use the following technologies for scientific projects:
- Epic Games Unreal Engine 5
- Unity
- Nvidia Omniverse
- Google Cloud
- Microsoft Azure
- Amazon AWS
- Google AI/Deep Mind
- Open AI
- Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence (BAAI)
- Meta/Facebook Reality Labs
- Niantic
